Dimapur, April 7 (EMN): As required under section 7 of Foreigners Act, Kohima police has informed all hotels/ guest houses/ dharmashala/ individual houses/ universities/ hospitals/ institutes/ others etc., who provide accommodation to foreigners, to submit details of the residing foreigner in Form C to the registration authorities (SP Office, Kohima) within 24 hours of the arrival of the foreigner at their premises.
A press release issued by senior Superintendent of Police, Kohima, P Sendongmeren, reminded all the aforesaid establishments that it is statutory obligation to intimate to its office about the arrival and stay of every foreigners within 24 hours.
It further stated that the above noted establishments accommodating foreigners could upload complete details regarding every overseas national staying in their establishment using the online C-Form. To enable the use of the IVFRT module, it stated that one could obtain user credential by registering at http://indianfrro.gov.in/frro/FormC.
