Dimapur, November 15: Pochury Hoho (PH) has vehemently condemned the November 4 incident at Sütsü village involving one Maj. Lopong of GPRN/NSCN.
The Hoho has termed it unfortunate that four calls were communicated to the Lüruri Development Council (LDC) president and secretary with dire consequences if the demand was not fulfilled within 10 days.
Firstly, the Hoho secretary, Er. Vichutho Nyusou said the accused violated the standing order of the area by forcibly employing some people to collect pine wood in Lüruri land and secondly by coming straight to the LDC president’s home at 11:54 midnight on November 4 with M-20 pistol and a 12 bore gun with one accomplice.
The Hoho questioned the intention of the accused for coming to the LDC president’s house at midnight. It also questioned if he had come with authorisation from GPRN/NSCN government or for his selfish interest.
The Pochury Hoho has appealed the authority of the GPRN/NSCN to take stern action against its cadre who had created unwanted activities for selfish interest. It further supported the Lüruri Development Council’s demand to take disciplinary action against ‘Maj’ Lopong for his anti people activity.
