- DIMAPUR — In a
move aimed at enhancing access to affordable healthcare, the Pradhan Mantri
Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra (PMBJAK) is now fully operational at Dr. Motsuo
Memorial District Hospital, Wokha.
- The facility, established under the national PMBJAK scheme,
offers the public a wide range of high-quality medicines and medical equipment
at significantly reduced prices, a DIPR report stated.
- With costs slashed from 50-80 percent compared to branded
alternatives, the initiative is designed to ease the financial burden on
patients while ensuring efficacy and quality remain uncompromised.

- The Kendra stocks a comprehensive selection of essential
healthcare products, including prescription medicines, surgical items, and
medical consumables. In addition, supportive health accessories such as blood

ankle supports, and back support belts are also readily available.
- The Jan Aushadhi outlet at Wokha aims to serve the entire
