DIMAPUR — A one
day seminar, organised by FOCUS-Nagaland in partnership with Pinnacle Skills
was held successfully in four districts of Mon, Longleng, Kiphire and Zunheboto
from December 5 to the 11th with the participation of more than 200 farmers in
the programme.
An update from Pinnacle Skill stated that resource person of
the seminar, Renathung Ezung, retired pilot and BAN committee member in import/
export and logistics, spoke on importance of agri marketing and market linkages
and importance of cold chain (refrigerated van).
Kevirheicha Savino of Warehouse 103 in Dimapur demonstrated
with products and tools on food processing, preservation trends and
opportunities and Rohit Singh of Tool Mart, Dimapur, explained about efficient
maintenance and regular and timely servicing of agricultural tools and
machineries.
