Pinnacle Skills conducts skills training in Mon, Peren and Chümoukedima

DIMAPUR — Pinnacle Skills held a certification programmes in Mon, Peren and Chümoukedima districts, which concluded on March 13, 18 and April 2 respectively.
An update from Pinnacle Skills stated that the programme, sponsored by the Nagaland Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Mission (NESDM), provided training on electrician, plumbing, masonry and tiling courses to bridge local skill gaps and foster self-employment.
During the programme in Mon, the EAC of Mon (Development), Kedoseno Rino, lauded NSEDM for the initiative and expressed her appreciation to Pinnacle Skills for bringing the training directly at the community's doorsteps. Rino emphasised the critical importance of acquiring hard skills in the current world of AI.

She also encouraged local entrepreneurship and to share the knowledge they have gained. She further urged the trainees to continuously improvise and upskill themselves and contributes to the overall development of the state.
In Ngwalwa under Peren district, eight women trainees were provided tools and equipment by the executive director of Pinnacle Skills, Jenny Haining Murry, to help them begin their professional journey.
Additionally in Aoyim under Chümoukedima, Achen Imchen, director of ELS International, offered internship opportunities to the trainees at his construction firm and encouraged them to remain disciplined and hardworking.
In the same programme, Malem Aier, president of Ao SensoTelongjem Naga United, exhorted the trainees to start humble, work and grow together.
It further stated that trainees have shared feedbacks on how the training programmes have equipped them for industrial roles and entrepreneurship.
