DIPHU — Rohit Pator Singnar (Sarzonk), a photographer in the office of Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations (Hills), Diphu, won award at the 27th National Online Photography Exhibition and Competition held from July 13 to 22nd.
Out of 60 participants from across the country, who took part in the competition organised by Manikarnika Art Gallery, Jhansi, UP, 14 of them, including Singnar from Manja and Nishant Das from Guwahati won award in the gold category,
The participants were required to send photos taken by them on themes like street photos, landscape, traditional, animals and architecture. Out of five photos sent by Singnar, two -- photo of a man aiming a Karbi traditional catapult at a target and a man walking with Kengdongdang (bamboo poles) -- were selected.
The winners were given a certificate, memento and a gold medal.
