Dimapur, June 24 (EMN): As part of “Skills to Succeed” programme, Pro Rural in collaboration with Quest Alliance and Accenture conducted practical training on pickle, soap and detergent-making to the youths of Kacharigaon Phevima on May 31, and also to Self Help Group registered with Assisi Centre for Integrated Development (ACID) on June 17 and 18
th.
The project aims at giving training on self-employment to the unemployed youths, according to a statement issued by Project Coordinator- Skills and Entrepreneurship, Kevineituo Tepa. Pro Rural trainers gave practical training to the participants while Quest Alliance focused on self-employment generation.
The students, who enrolled in the Skills to Succeed project, were also taught about about soft skills for self-employment, which was presented by Kevineituo Tepa and Zheni Chache (Project Coordinator- Environment and Sanitation).
