Dimapur, Nov. 10 (EMN): A group called Vibrant Entertainment, under the aegis of the government’s Task Force for Music and Arts (Tafma), organised the 3rd Open House and talent hunt at Phek town hall on November 9 in Phek.
Vibrant Entertainment issued a press release informing about the event.
The press release stated that the event focused on upcoming young talents in music and arts at the school levels. Students from five schools took part in the talent hunt. The programme had solo, dance and choreography competitions, the updates stated.
The panel of judges for the programme was composed of Vileno Kapu, women welfare officer, who is also said to be a singer, grade-8 in classical vocal, and a member of a group called Harmonic Voices; Toyi Swuro, a member of ‘Ineffable Quive,’ said to be a two-time qualifier for the ‘Indian hip-hop dance championship’; and Dzuthohu Thira, also stated to be a top-6 qualifier in the ‘Indian hip-hop dance championship.’
In the juniors and seniors’ solo singing competitions, Akumsenla Pogen of Royal Foundation School, and Kuluvelu Swuro of Kiddies’ Corner school were declared the winners
Roseline Jami of Bishop Abraham Memorial School and Khrutsilu Venuh of Royal Foundation School bagged the runner-up prize.
In the choreography competition, the team from Bishop Abraham Memorial School was named the winner, and Royal Foundation School the runner-up. In the solo dance event, the team from Kiddies’ Corner school was named the winner. In duo dance, the team from government higher secondary school was declared the winner, the press release stated.
