Dimapur, July 24 (EMN): A programme to highlight consumer rights and responsibilities of consumers was conducted on July 24 in the PTC Hall in Phek town.
The programme was organised by the department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection and the district legal services authority of Phek in collaboration with the Phek Town Youth Society, Phek Town GBs and Phek Town Colony Chairmen’s Forum, a press release from the organisers stated.
The programme was conducted with the slogan “your rights, your responsibilities,” the updates stated.
Mezivolu T Therieh, district session judge, was the guest speaker of the event, the organisers informed. She was stated to have spoken in detail about the rights and responsibilities of consumers with reference to the Consumer Protection Act 1986.
