Dimapur, July 9 (EMN): Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Research & Seminar Committee of Phek Government College jointly organised a one-day workshop on “Research methodology and publications” on July 8 in the college premises.
The programme was chaired by Assistant Professor Tsotalu Nakro, while the college principal, Dr. Vizovol Mekro, delivered the keynote address.
Resource persons Dr. I Koktiba from the department of Political Science spoke on ‘Research methodology: An introduction,’ while Dr. H Atoholi Sema from the department of Chemistry spoke on ‘Research design and tools.’
Dr. Neilhousano Nakhro from the department of Botany spoke on ‘Writing research proposal,’ and Dr. Levinu Sakhrie from the department of Political Science spoke on ‘Research publication and ethics.’
The lecture was followed with an interactive session. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by the college vice principal, Shepalu Suyie.
