DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 27
The Thirty fourth Annual Sports week of Phek Government College was kick-started in a colourful function at the Phek Town Local Ground on October 27 with Nukutulu Rhakho, EAC, Phek as the chief guest. The opening ceremony was led by Kavili Aye, Women Co-ordinator, PGC while invocation was led by Moze Nyekha, Women Pastor, PTBC. Welcome address was given by Velazo Lohe, Vice President PGC. A special number was presented by Mr. Vizovolie and friends. The Chief Guest, Smt. Nukutulu Rhakho, in her speech, advised the students to take part in sports and games and learn the traits of sportsmanship, team spirit and the readiness to accept success and failure as part of life.
The Sports week is scheduled to be concluded on October 29.
