Phek Government College autumn fest concludes

 Dimapur, Nov.4 (EMN): Phek Government College (PGC) concluded its Autumn Fest 2019 cum Annual Sports Week on November 2. Vizovol Mekro, principal of PGC while speaking during the closing ceremony, "acknowledged the excellent team work of the sports committee, the students’ union and the entire college fraternity," a press statement from the media cell of PGC informed. He further stressed on the importance of sports and physical activity to keep oneself fit. Various activities such as track and field, football, volleyball, indoor games and mobile games were conducted during the event.  LA Galaxy emerged as the overall champion of the sports week. Razukhru Vasa, DPO, DRDA, Phek, also speaking on the occasion, ‘emphasised on the importance of all-round development and encouraged the students to pursue excellence in whatever they do,’ informed the statement.
