Dimapur, July 12 (EMN): Phek District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) has approved LADP scheme for the year 2017-2018, Besides, it has approved setting up of Botanical Garden at Phek Government College as well as registration of societies including Phek Village Youth Organisation and F/A for Bharat Scouts and Guides Phek district.
The approval to this effect was taken during the monthly DPDB meeting held at DPDB hall Phek on July 12 under the chairperson Kuzholuzo Nienu, Deputy Chairman State Planning Board and Chairman DPDB Phek, in the presence of Minister for PHED Chotisuh Sazo.
Departmental activities were presented by SDO (Housing) and Sericulture Department Phek.
Meanwhile, it has decided to hold a co-ordination meeting in the DC’s conference hall on July 25. All the head of offices have been requested to attend the meeting without fail. KVK and Phek Government College have been asked to present their departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.
