- DIMAPUR — The
monthly Phek District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held
on June 12 at DC's conference hall, Phek, under the new DPDB chairman Kudecho
Khamo, Advisor for CAWD & Taxes.
- In his address, the DPDB chairman outlined his vision and
plans for the district's development, focusing on effective governance and
citizen benefits, a DIPR report stated.

- Khamo highlighted Nagaland's economic status and urged
officers to efficiently implement developmental schemes for the district's
uplift.
- He also lauded the launch of Viksit Khrishi Sankalp Abhiyaan
campaign in the district and sought full cooperation from line departments for
its success.
- Additionally, proposed monthly mass social work initiatives
in Phek town, which received unanimous agreement from the members.

- Kuzholuzo Nienu, MLA, and Dr. Neisatuo Mero, MLA, also
attended and addressed the meeting, acknowledging the encouraging level of
attendance of the DPDB meeting.
- Department officers were urged to collaborate with Phek town
councillors and ensure ongoing maintenance of the town's cleanliness.
