- KOHIMA — The Phek
District Archery Association (PDAA) has launched a series of archery coaching
camps to nurture young talent and promote the sport throughout the district.
- According to an update, the initiative was led by PDAA
president Dr. Chotisuh Sazo and vice president Razuvolie Dozo. The initiative
brings certified NIS coaches Besuta Vero and Khosazo Thisa to train students in
various schools.
- The first three-day camp was successfully conducted at
Government High School (GHS), Chetheba, from March 10 to the 12th. It will
continue at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Chozuba, from March 13
to the 15th, followed by camps at GHSS Phek, and GHS Losami.
- To support the initiative, PDAA is equipping participating
schools with essential training gear, including two buttresses, two bow sets,
and two target faces of 80cm and 122cm.
