Dimapur, July 17 (EMN): Nagaland State Pharmacy Council (NSPC), in collaboration with the Nagaland Pharmacists’ Association (NPA), will be conducting the “Continuing Pharmacy Education” (CPE) programme on July 18 at the State Academy Hall, PR Hill, Kohima, hosted by the Kohima District Pharmacists’ Union (KDPU). According to KDPU general secretary, Z John Tipu, registration will start at 9 am and the programme will begin at 10 am. As per section 4.2 of the Pharmacy Practice Regulation 2015 for renewal of registration, a pharmacist should attend minimum two refresher courses in pharmacy of minimum one-day duration in a span of 5 years. He stated that registered pharmacists (working/ community) having valid and updated registration are eligible for the course. A certificate would be issued by the council, which would be treated as a valid document for further renewal of registration. Pharmacists practicing in the State are asked to avail the opportunity.
