DIMAPUR — Powergrid Corporation of India Limited (GGCIL), a Government of India enterprise, handed over a rescue van to Mokokchung child helpline 1998 through the deputy commissioner, Thsuvisie Phoji, during a programme held at the DC's office complex on Friday.
According to a DIPR report, the donation was a result of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PGCIL and DC Mokokchung signed on October 11, 2023, as part of PGCIL's corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities.
It stated that the deputy commissioner has expressed gratitude to PGCIL for the noble initiative and emphasised its positive impact not only on Mokokchung district but also on neighboring districts.
Samuel, DCPO of Mokokchung, delivered the vote of thanks.
The function was attended by Jasmine Ashao, SDO of Mokokchung, and other officials from Child Helpline Mokokchung.
