Dimapur, Nov. 17 (EMN): Pfutsero Government College (PGC) organised a thanksgiving programme on November 16 to express gratitude to all stakeholders, representatives of NGOs, alumni association, PTA, all wards of Pfutsero town and representatives of surrounding villages and well-wishers for their contribution towards the college.
The college was indebted to the community for their unceasing efforts in aiding the college pass through the first phase of NAAC assessment which was a big success, an update from the college stated.
Basing his speech on 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Rev. Dr. N Chiero, senior pastor of PTBC and guest speaker, shared on how as Christians people should give thanks to God.
Dr. Moanochet Longchar, college’s principal, welcomed and thanked all the invitees and well-wishers for their valuable contributions made towards the college during the NAAC Assessment, while Wedete Kapfo, treasurer of fund raising committee, read out the finance report.
Neichupe Kapfo, IQAC co-coordinator, gave a brief account on the report given by the NAAC peer team on the strength, weakness, opportunities and challenges (SWOC) and also suggestions given to improve, upgrade and develop the college. Medozu Mero, college vice principal, invoked God’s blessings and indigenous song was presented by Kukhruveyi and friends.
