The 33rd annual games and sports meet of Pfutsero Government College, Pfutsero, 25th to 29th August 2015 under the theme “One team, one spirit, one win” started with Colo Mero, Director, Life Sports as the chief guest.
Mero lamented on the sports facilities in Nagaland that many aspiring sports persons don’t have adequate opportunity to become professionals, however, if a person thinks and have the potentials he or she should make a living out of it and dedicating to what ones aspire to do and reach levels beyond.
He challenged the student that our society does not need more graduates and post graduates who does not do anything with their certificate but a person with dignity and a man of character who will work sincerely and become a dynamic person in the society. He also adviced the student to follow a person with personality, character and leadership and achieve all round development. Also he asks the students to love their life, love God and love what they does, so that one will enjoy life. He concluded with best wishes and blessings.
In the programme Chandini T Singsit, Asst. Professor invoke Gods’ blessing, welcome speech was delivered by Mr. Wakhro Khape, Gen. Secy. PGCSU and short exhortation was delivered by Dr. Stephen Lotha, Principal, Pfutsero Govt. College, Pfutsero.
