Pfutsero Government College holds workshop on accounting basics

DIMAPUR — The Pfutsero Government College held a one-day workshop on the ‘basics of accounting and financial statements’ for teaching faculty and ministerial staff on Thursday.

The programme was chaired by Neiko Ritse, HoD, department of Economics, and the welcome note was delivered by Neichupe Kapfo, principal in charge, PGC.

The resource person, Kache Kapfo, senior account assistant, department of Treasuries and Accounts, Pfutsero sub-division, gave a thorough presentation on the pay matrix of Nagaland RoP rules 2017 for different pay levels.

He emphasised key points on the MACP based on length of service, the national pension system, the general provident fund, increments, and various dearness allowance benefits permissible to government employees.

Wepekhro Wetsah, the coordinator of the internal quality assurance cell (IQAC), gave the concluding statement following the interaction hour.
