Dimapur, July 30 (EMN): A national level non-governmental organisation known by the name, Parivartan Foundation for Social Change and Economic Reform (PFSCER), conducted a leadership training programme for minority women on July 29 at Pfutsero Town Hall under Phek district. A press release from the secretary to PFSCER informed on Monday.
According to the press release, the topic for the programme was about ‘health and hygiene.’ Resource person Zunyi-u Zhiemi explained to the minority women about good health and cleanliness.
Zhiemi said that despite many hospitals around, there are no special institutes or places which teach one to have a good health. ‘To have a good health, our habits are one of the most essential things.
We should have good habits in order to prevent our self from all diseases; balance diet should be maintained for a good and healthy life,’ she said.
She also advised the participants by saying that balance diet, regular check-up, and cleanliness can prevent diseases like cancer, blood pressure, heart diseases, and such, the press release added.
The programme was attended by 70 women participants. Vote of thanks was delivered by secretary to PFSCER, Rajesh Singh, the press release added.
