The Chief Medical Office of Peren district met on May 5 to reviews healthcare activities in the district. The meeting was attended by the district program officers, senior medical officers and health workers as well as district and block program management unit workers.
Chief Medical Officer Dr Ngangshimeren, acknowledged the District AIDS Program Control Unit staff, for their efforts and support in successfully carrying out the programs every month, and the district program officers, NVBDCP and the IEC personnel for successfully carrying out the painting competition in observance of World Malaria Day.
He highlighted on the meeting held at Directorate on Household Survey. He said that the health workers were the main driving force in all fields at the grassroots in regard to providing services. He encouraged them to enhance and improve their performance even more. On that note, he briefed the health workers about their roles and responsibilities.
Further on, the CMO urged all the staffers to give their best in terms of service provided, reports and records which is the most important. Another matter he raised was that ‘proxy system’ will not be entertained.
