Dimapur, June 6 (EMN): The District Planning and Development Board conducted a meeting in Peren on June 6th presided by deputy commissioner, also vice chairman of the board, Zarenthung Ezung.
The meeting reviewed at length the last DPDB minutes, including the creation of a sub-centre at Jalukie ‘B’ Village. The board recommended the same for consideration of the higher authority.
Also, officials of the executive engineer of the PHED highlighted activities the latest work position of the department which was in active progress. Later the chairman urged the heads of departments to utilise the digitization facilities in the district. He also informed about the data-capturing activities around Aadhaar by the citizens of the district in the two Aadhaar Centres, at ADC office in Peren and SDO (C) office in Jalukie. He apprised of the Aadhaar facilities available for children of the age group 0-5 years of age.
Earlier, four new officers namely the ADC of Tening, HolohonYepthomi; SDO (C) of Jalukie, T Lankosen Tsanglo; SDO (C) of Peren, Dr. Kuzunyi Tsideo; and JE of PWD (Housing),Tekhewe Therie, were introduced to the board.
A power point presentation was given by NIC. The Excise department will present a PowerPoint of their departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.
