Dimapur, March 24 (EMN): Peren region of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) reiterated its solidarity to the leadership of the state chief minister Neiphiu Rio, party president Chingwang Konyak, and advisor Namri Nchang.
NDPP Peren region made this affirmation during its consultative meeting held on March 24 under the chairmanship of Neiba Ndang, PDA member, at Shalom Resort, Gaili. Chairing the meeting, Neiba Ndang informed the members on the present political scenario in the state. Advisor Namri Nchang also addressed the gathering.
The region congratulated the state chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, and the NDPP party president and PDA chairman, Chingwang Konyak, on completion of one year.
The region also welcomed NPP legislators Imnatiba and L Khumo into the NDPP family. Further, the members resolved to fully support the candidature of Tokheho Yepthomi and Sharigain Longkumer in the ensuring elections.
