Peren Model Village inaugurated

EMN Peren, June 21 The council hall of the Peren Model Village was inaugurated by IGP PF Zeliang on June 17. The Peren Model Village was established by Peren villagers within its jurisdiction in 1992. The chief guest spoke on the importance of road connectivity within the village. He also stressed on the need for developing the village in tune with its name “Model Village”. He said that the world belongs to the brave and not to the cowards. The programme was chaired by Paunam Mark. Dedication of the council hall was done by Neilhou Hega Pastor. The history and concept of the establishment of “Peren Model Village” was highlighted by Dr.Ndangkie Ndang. Amang Sephe, G.B. encouraged the gathering to preserve one’s identity and remain united. Vote of thanks was proposed by Abam Herie, Chairman Model Village. The programme was followed by a common feast.
