Dimapur, Nov. 16 (EMN): The district administration of Peren district has directed land holders to start building or to develop their land within six months from the date of issuance of this notice.
The government publicity agency the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR) gave updates to the media on Saturday informing about the notification.
The additional deputy commissioner of Tening, Rhosietho Ngouri, has directed all holders of valid land permits to develop and construct their ‘respective buildings, either residential or commercial, within six months from the date of issue of the order ie., on or before May 12 2020, the IPR stated.
According to the notification, the authorities have observed that many of the valid land permit holders at Tening headquarters have kept their land lying undeveloped for decades.
‘Such a case is causing impediment to the fast-developing pace of Tening town while also disturbing the aesthetic set up of the town since the lands are left unattended and vacant,’ the IPR stated.
“Failure to comply with this order within the stipulated time, the defaulting valid land patta permit will be cancelled. The order was issued in the interest of development of Tening town in particular and sub division in general,” the IPR stated.
