The Ningting Cham Peren District Open Badminton Championship 2015, organised by the Ningting Society, Tening Town, at Indoor Stadium, Tening Town concluded on May 6 with Lungliayicung Zeliang emerging as the champion. The tournament was declared open on May 4 by Thsuvisie Phoji, ADC Tening. During the opening ceremony, Ichirang, SDO-PHED, Peren, President, Peren District Badminton Association also spoke words of encouragement to both the organisers and the players. The closing ceremony was graced by Kitanwi Chewang, Executive Secretary, Liangmai Baptist Aruang, Nagaland as the guest of honour. He gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up of all the categories. Lungchui, Vice Chairman, Adhoc Town Committee, Tening also spoke words of encouragement during the closing ceremony.
