Dimapur, Sep. 23 (EMN): The BJP, Peren district held a reception programme for some of the newly appointed party officials for the district on Sep. 21 at its office at Jalukie town.
A press release received here at on Sun., while informing about the programme, stated that the programme was held to welcome H Thong, the BJP spokesperson and the Peren district in-charge who was on his maiden visit to the district; the programme was also organised to felicitate Hurui Zeliang newly incumbent vice president
BJP state unit and Khiubangdi Chuang Secretary BJP, Nagaland unit.
The release stated that H Thong, while speaking at the programme, deeply appreciated the party workers and encouraged the party men to have good rapport and coordination for the uplift of the party.
The organising secretary state unit, Ananta Narayan Mishra, while minutely explaining about the party functionaries and party structure, urged the party workers to uphold and mobilise the people for “the forthcoming ULB election”, the release added
