Dimapur, May 12 (EMN): A farewell programme for the outgoing administrative officers of Peren district was held on May 11 at DC’s Conference Hall.
Deputy Commissioner Peren, Zarenthung Ezung, who also chaired the programme, stated that transfer and posting of the government servant is a normal procedure and added that willingness to work and conviction to work should be our ethics in a career. He also advised the four outgoing officers to gain public confidence wherever they are posted and encouraged them that they should be the last man standing to carry their duty forward. While wishing the officers a prosperous career, he also reminded them to take along the fond memories of the district.ADC Peren, Tainiu, felicitated the outgoing officers and also thanked them for their effectiveness in serving the district and wished them a bright future on behalf of the administrative officers of Peren. ADC Tening, Thsuvisie Phoji, who is leaving on transfer to Noklak shared his experiences working with the interior part of Peren district. He requested the officers of Peren to take cognizance of the needs of the interior part as has been done during his stay.
SDO (C) Jalukie, Rhosietho Ngouri, who was transferred on promotion to Wokha stated that he had an eventful working experience with three Deputy Commissioners of Peren.
EAC Tening, Kelevituo Nisa thanked all the senior officers for their guidance. He further added that, he is better equipped to take on new responsibilities. He further shared how he was guided by the senior officers.
Speeches on behalf of DBs was delivered by Namtsi, District Head DB while Ramina, UDA spoke on behalf of the staffs.
