Kohima, April 7 (EMN): Peraciezie Royals and Mission Dukes won their respective matches at the ongoing 4th edition of 10-Northern Angami -1 T20 Bash played at KVC Ground, Ziekezou on Friday. The tournament is organised by Brotherhood Group under the theme “Bat for Unity”
Peraciezie Royals defeated Rokabozou/Sepfuzou Challengers by 8 wickets in the first match. R S Challenger after electing to bat first scored 85 runs losing 4 wickets in 15 overs. Rencho and Saroj took 2 wickets each for Peraciezie.
In reply, Peraciezie Royals reached the target in the 8th over. Nchumbemo was awarded the Man of the match for making 29* runs off 12 balls.
In the second match, Mission Dukes overpowered P Khel Eagles by 14 runs. Mission Dukes in 15 overs scored 76 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Chasing the target, P Khel was bowled out for just 62 runs in 14.2 overs. Kenie and Keviselhuo took 2 wickets each for Mission Dukes. Pete of Dukes contributing 32 off 24 balls was adjudged as the Man of the match.
The third match between Kenuozuo Wolves and High School Daredevils was washed out and both teams had to share a point each.
