Students of People’s College pose before embarking on their
educational tour to Meghalaya on March 18.
- MOKOKCHUNG — To
promote experiential learning beyond the classroom, the students of People’s
College are on an educational tour to Meghalaya from March 18 to 21.
- The tour, organised on the theme "Exploring
Meghalaya," is meant to provide students with the opportunity to engage
with the region's unique cultural, historical, and ecological heritage,
according to an update.
- Accompanied by two faculty members, the students will visit
key locations in Meghalaya, including natural landmarks, cultural sites, and
institutions of academic interest. The tour aims to broaden their horizons,
foster camaraderie, and enhance their understanding of the diversity and
richness of the northeastern region.
- The initiative is funded by the management board of People’s
College.
