Dimapur, Aug. 23 (EMN): A pension Adalat was inaugurated on August 23 by the Principal Secretary of P&AR department, Abhijit Sinha, in the presence of the Principal Accountant General E Mhonbemo Patton.
According to a press release issued by a senior Accounts Officer, Pension Section, the Adalat took up fresh pension cases as well as revision of pension cases. Representative officers from the P&AR department, Treasury and Accounts department, and nodal officers of more than 30 state government departments attended the Adalat, the release stated.
The release further stated that pension cases were taken up for on-spot and quick settlement within the framework extant rules and provisions.
