DIMAPUR — A 24-member pencak silat team from Nagaland is poised to represent the state in the forthcoming 12th Senior National Pencak Silat Championship, scheduled to take place at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from June 11 to the 13th.

According to an update, the Nagaland contingent, comprising both boys and girls, is thoroughly prepared to compete in individual sparring across various weight categories and in eight artistic events.

President Khevishe Sema and head coach Deep Kumar, along with senior referee Kuhoshe Chishi of the Nagaland Pencak Silat Association, will lead the state team for the championship.
