
Peer team interacting with the faculty and students of Bosco
College of Teacher Education during the Academic and Administrative Audit on
February 5.
- DIMAPUR — Bosco
College of Teacher Education (BCTE), Dimapur, underwent an Academic and
Administrative Audit (AAA) conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education on
February 5.
- The inspection team was led by retired additional director
of Higher Education, Dr. Watijunshi, as convener and accompanied by retired
director of Higher Education, Kuholi Chishi, and additional director of Higher
Education, Dr. K Nishena Nekha.
- An update from BCTE stated that the peer team was received
by college management, faculty and students.
- It stated that the college’s principal, Dr. Fr. Jose Joseph,
provided a comprehensive presentation on the institution's academic and
administrative framework, followed by detailed reports by Dr. Poorani Mani,
IQAC coordinator, and the head of various pedagogy departments.
- During the visit, the AAA team interacted with faculty
members, administrative staff, IQAC representatives and the students’ council
on academic processes and institutional development. A physical inspection of
the college infrastructure and student facilities was also conducted.
- The audit concluded with an exit meeting, where the peer
team shared their observations and offered valuable feedback on aligning with
the NAAC peer team expectations. They commended the principal and the college
community for their dedication to academic excellence, while providing
recommendations for further improvement.
- The visit concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr.
Fr. Jose Joseph and a benediction said by Fr. Santosh.
