animators, focusing on workplace ethics, collaboration, and community
engagement on March 29.
- According to an update, the event aimed to empower teachers
with essential skills and knowledge to enhance their professional roles and
contribute to creating a peaceful and ethical educational environment.
- The first technical session was conducted by Dr. Lawrence
Khing, vice principal of the North East Institute of Social Sciences and
Research (NEISSR), who shared his insights on "Employee and employer
relationships in a job setting”.

- He explained the roles of employees as professionals within
an organisation, emphasising the importance of continuous learning, unique
talents, and aligning with an organisation’s mission and vision. Fr. Khing also
discussed the expectations of employers from employees, including key qualities
such as independence, punctuality, responsibility, and a result-oriented
approach.
- The second session was led by Dr. Fr. CP Anto, director of
Peace Channel and principal of NEISSR.

collective efforts among teachers to achieve common educational objectives. He
encouraged educators to leverage digital platforms like Peace Channel for
information dissemination and engagement, stressing the significance of unity
in improving the community.
- He also introduced drug-free campaigns, outlining strategies
to prevent drug abuse through school and community awareness initiatives. He
emphasised the importance of peer mediation and conflict resolution training as
essential tools for maintaining a peaceful and safe environment.
