PDSA sports meet underway

Dimapur, Feb. 27 (EMN): The 35th sports meet of Phek District Sport Association (PDSA) got underway at Chizami on Feb. 26. Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) treasurer, K. Sekhamo unfurled the PDSA flag and formally declared the meet open during the opening ceremony. Secheku Range Sports Association (SRSA) president, Lonyi Puro delivered the welcome address while PDSA president Krolhou Ritse delivered the presidential address. PDSA games & sports secretary Vezhosayi Lohe administered oath to the participating teams. The meet is being marked by track and field events, football, volleyball and basketball. The meet will culminate Mar. 6.
