PDBA releases amended constitution

DIMAPUR — The first amended constitution of Phek District Bar Association (PDBA) was officially released by Rev. Dr. Vetso Koza in the presence of PDBA executive members led by its president, Povotso Lohe, at a simple yet solemn function organised on December 27 at the premises of Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima (Kitsubozou).

In his dedicatory prayer and sermon, Rev. Dr. Vetso Koza called upon the members of the legal fraternity of the district to rededicate themselves in the service to the suffering humanity in the fear and obedience of the Lord and invoked God’s blessing to lead the PDBA to a greater height in rendering the much needed legal service to the people of the district in particular in deliverance of justice and equality.

Meanwhile, the office of PDBA expressed gratitude to MLA Kuzholuzo Nienu for sponsoring the cost of printing charges of 300 copies of the said amended constitution.
