DIMAPUR — Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) has decided to organise short film contest in conjunction with the 4th edition of its three-day campus film festival scheduled from October 28 to the 30th.
The campus film festival is being organised by the final year students of the Mass Communication department on the theme "Beyond lights, camera, action: resonating stories."
An update from the college informed that the winner of the short film contest would receive cash prize of INR 10,000 along with additional incentives, while two consolation prizes of INR 2,000 each including incentives would also be awarded.
The festival director, Wan-o N Yanlem, final year Mass communication student, informed that all entries would be screened during the film festival, offering participants a platform to present their work to a wider audience. The deadline for receipt of entries has been set on September 14.
It stated that the contest would be opened to all. It has particularly encouraged the students to participate in the competition.
