Dimapur, Feb. 22: Purana Bazar Nkonjan Kikon Ekhung (PBNKE) has condemned the opened gun fired at the residence of its bonafide senior member Zaremo kikon at Darogapathar on February 20 around 11:30 p.m.
In a press note, general secretary Moyo Kikon stated that the miscreant(s) not only fired the shot at the residence but also tried to break the lock of the gate at around 2:30 a.m.
Stating that the motive behind the incident was a serious matter, Purana Bazar Nkonjan Kikon Ekhung urged the law enforcing authority to investigate the matter thoroughly and arrest the culprit(s) at the earliest. DTE: The Dimapur Tsungiki Ekhüng expressed shock over the incident the February 20 incident, where some unknown miscreant (s) fired a gun shot at the residence of Zaremo Kikon of Tsungiki village at Darogapathar, Dimapur at around 11:30 midnight.
DTE stated that while Naga society is striving for peace such untoward cowardly act is condemnable and said it may occur again to anyone in the society in the near future. Therefore, DTE appeal to the law enforcing agency to take immediate measures in apprehending the culprits and put behind the bars so that justice will be delivered.
