PBCCKK holds ‘Evangelism through sports’ event

DIMAPUR — Pesocha Baptist Church Council Khriesarűű Krotho (PBCCKK) organised the 15th Evangelism through sports (ETS) at Seiyhama village ground on April 22 with the participation of more than 1000 youth from Northern Baptist Churches in Kohima district.

The inaugural programme was chaired by Khrieneituo Kense, advisor of PBCCKK, while the scripture reading and invocation was led by Khriezelhou Sopfűnuo, pastor of Seiyhama Baptist Church and vice president of PBCC.

An update from PBCCKK stated that its president, Seyiengulie Angami, exhorted the gathering, while a song was presented by Avinuo Metha and oath taking was administered by Ruokuosalie Kengurűse.

In the closing programme, PBCCKK president, Neikielie Rűpreo, chaired the programme, while a song was presented by Chiephobozou town unit of BKK. Neilavotuo Mere, ABCC associate mission director, shared the message and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mengusielie Kesiyie, PBKK youth director.

Results:

In the men’s volleyball, Seiyhama won the championship title, while Meriema and Tsiesema Basa were declared first and second-runners-up.

In the women’s volleyball, Seiyhama won the first position and Chiephobozou won the second position.

Meanwhile, PBCCK informed that Meriema BKK would host the next ETS edition in 2024.
