Nagaland Governor PB Acharya had an informal meeting with the Non-Naga business community of Dimapur on Monday at the Conference hall of Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) office Dimapur in the presence of Dimapur DC Kesonyu Yhome and district administration.
Governor PB Acharya who was slated to leave for Assam had to cancel his trip owing to the unpredictable weather condition and made a point to meet the Non-Naga business community. The main purpose of his meeting with the business community was to share their opinion and their involvement in the private sectors for the economic growth of the state.However the Non-Naga business community during the course of interaction while stating that in other metropolitan cities business starts after dawn whilst in Nagaland business closes down at dawn, placed forth their psychotic fear and their insecurities they endure running business establishment in the state. The Non-Naga business community, therefore seek protection from the Governor to ease off their insecurities to run business successfully.
Clearing the purpose of his meeting, Governor PB Acharya sought opinion from the Non-Naga business community for their contribution towards a successful framework. Stating this he remarked that for a peaceful Nagaland every individual, organizations should figure out the reasons for the failure of the task and ponder on the steps to implement for a peaceful setting without restriction on trust deficiency.
Reiterating the democratic status of India, he called on the church and organizations to play their role in peace keeping, at the same time maintained that the Central government has the political will to solve issues.
Stating the three E’s Electricity, Education and Empowerment to be the necessity of the state, the Governor expressed Naga’s who have gone out to be happier than the Naga’s in Nagaland and articulated that the fruits of independence have not reached all the places.
