Nagaland legislators to undergo self quarantine

Dimapur, July 15 (EMN): The deputy chief minister of Nagaland, Y Patton, and his colleagues, who came in contact with a driver attached to Nagaland House Delhi and tested positive for Covid-19, will undergo self quarantine following all SOPs and other guidelines at government quarantine centre although results of initial tests and subsequent TrueNat tests returned negative.

This was informed by the media cell of the deputy CM on Wednesday.

Dispelling rumours that some legislators were tested positive for Covid-19, an official attached to Patton informed that all the legislators were tested and results returned negative and asked the people not to create confusion.

Patton along with some legislators from the state had gone to Delhi to meet with some Central leaders when two legislators came in contact with one driver who tested positive for the virus later. The legislators will soon arrive at Dimapur, the update informed
