DIMAPUR — Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister, Yanthungo Patton, and state minister of Tourism and Higher Education, Temjen Imna Along, called on the chief minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sharma, in Guwahati on Wednesday.

Taking to social media on X, Patton stated that they have discussed on issues which are significant to the development and prosperity of both Assam and Nagaland.

“We explored ways to strengthen ties and work towards shared goals. I look forward to continued cooperation and joint initiatives that will benefit our states and uplift the lives of our people,” the tweet read.

Meanwhile, the Assam chief minister also took to X platform and stated that during the meeting, they engaged in a range of issues concerning the development and progress of both states.
