- DIMAPUR — To
provide easy access to healthcare diagnostics for the population of Mon
district, the Pathkind Collection Centre was inaugurated in Mon town on April
5.
- The centre is a collaboration of Pathkind Laboratory, a NABL
accredited lab, and Eastern Diagnostic Centre, Mon Town.
- An update from Eastern Diagnostic Centre stated that the
centre was inaugurated by Mankhao Konyak, MLA of Mon town, in the presence of
minister CL John, advisor Konngam Konyak, MLAs Nyamnyei Konyak and Manpon
Konyak.
- It added that Wennyei Konyak, resident commissioner, New
Delhi; Dr. Hentok Phom, joint director and state nodal officer, New Delhi; and
Dr. Supongmenla Walling, CMO of Mon district, also attended the inaugural
function.
- It mentioned that Pathkind Laboratory is accredited by the
National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories, ensuring
high standards in diagnostic services. The lab is equipped with
state-of-the-art machines and manned by certified pathologists and technicians.
- Pathkind offers various health check-up packages including
specialised tests in oncology, neurology, gynecology, nephrology and more. The
lab also provides home collection services for patient’s convenience.
- It further stated that the Pathkind Collection Centre aims
to improve healthcare accessibility in Mon district by providing high-quality
diagnostic services, reducing the need for patients to travel to higher centres
for medical care.
