Kohima, May 31 (EMN): Amid speculations of the ongoing Naga political talks facing a possible breakdown despite the recent intense talks, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Tuesday said the state government is 'talking to everybody'.
Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of an event in Kohima, he said, "We are facilitators, we cannot voice anything, we have to see that they come into understanding and we are working hard, that speculation should not go to the press."
Replying to a query about the recent Parliamentary core committee’s meeting with the NSCN (IM) leaders in Chumoukedima, Rio said they had advised them to continue the negotiations.
Meanwhile, he informed that a core committee meeting will also be held soon.
The member secretary of the core committee and minister, Neiba Kronu revealed that the meeting is being scheduled on June 2.
