Paiwang calls on union minister

EMN Dimapur, March 13 Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communication, P Paiwang Konyak, called on the Union Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Ravi Shankar Prasad, at his office chamber Sanchar Bhavan, New Delhi. During the visit, Paiwang submitted the state project proposal under Development Fund Facility (PDF) at the cost of Rs 214.67 crore for nine (9) components of the project. He also requested the Union minister that the project to consider under the “Digital India” which was initiated by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Meanwhile, the Union minister assured to take up the project in the next financial year 2016-2017 and for early sanction of the project.
