THE other night I felt overcome by sadness as I reflected upon all the pains in our Naga society.
In many ways, I have a perfect life. Nevertheless, a part of me will always be sad as long as there is pain in my society. Happiness is life and happiness comes from you and me.
One night, I sat with the feelings of pain in my heart, gazing at the dark night sky. And I say, let his heart be broken into a million pieces. And they will be all the better for it.
There is not a single person in our Naga society that can escape from pain. Failing to see our true nature, our life ends up a constant dance of attachment and aversion. This is precisely what brings painful to our way.
“I like this. I don’t like that. I want him. I don’t want him”. This is how our good politicians in our society neglect its own people were in there pad and seal shows “Nagaland for Christ”. And that is a shame for us.
There may be transitory moments of happiness when things you overcome with your wealth, you have an enjoyable sensory experience, or acquire an entrancing new possession as you have wealth. But you must know that this happiness is not a long lasting one. It is were you’re selling out your own identity to others. All the tension of striving for what you want and rejecting other pain just to bring more complications for yourself.
When politics pops up, instead of running away with corruption, let it wake you up. Politics has the power to introduce a crack in your limited and limiting version of reality. Maybe politics isn’t all about wanting, getting, accomplishing, and possessing. Maybe there is another way.
And even if you know this already, politics can sing you an even deeper song which makes you work for the people.
When politic breaks open your heart, you become fully inhuman. You only think of oneself, overpower others and consider them nothing.
You by having the courage to touch your own pain and suffering, you must have the courage to touch and feel the pain and suffering of the public among the Naga.
You see: Your pain and my pain are the same. Pain is a common thread that unites all of humanity. From recognizing this simple truth, a profound feeling of interconnectedness can arise. This sense of interconnection can bring about an unspeakable thought in public mine. It can ignite the wish to bring happiness to our society. Pain is also a motivator to begin learning how to change our political status.
Most of our politicians come with money minded and make things started changing differently – a relationship ends, someone dies, we’re fired from a job, illness descends, a friend is physically hurt.
Now, I’m not suggesting that you get stuck on being bad politician – that would be depression. But you should change yourself to be a good politician so that the society will deeply have good regrets under your leadership.
At the same time, we don’t need to push you away for being a politician as soon as you pay a visit but first think of yourself and asked, who you are? What you should do for your Naga society?
Politician is the doorway to profound understanding. I feel empowered by those corrupted politician because it helps public see what is reality matters in our society.
The key points to remember are: kindness, love, and compassion. As in our present scenario of the Naga society these really does not exist in most of our politicians mine. If so they are not fit to hold or work for the betterment of our society. And this is my Freedom of Speech and Expression under ARTICLE 19 to against you.
You should say, in my life, the experience of being great politician, and the understanding resulting from what I learn is leader which means to lead my people, volunteer and render myself to my Naga people, it has led directly to being a more compassionate person.
If you have known pain, you recognize it in others and are able to more effectively act to alleviate needless suffering. If you can’t feel pain to your kind people about their ignorance and failures in you, you won’t rededicate to improving your focus till you die.
Thus, “Pain is a reminder of our humanness” where we can call ourselves the truth politician leader which our society will hope the best fruit in the future. And proudly call ourselves the real Nagaland for Christ society.
God Bless Nagaland.
