Diphu, May 20 (EMN): The chief executive member (CEM) of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Tuliram Ronghang has inaugurated a medical oxygen gas generation plant and 20,000 kl. capacity liquid oxygen storage plant under SOPD (G) Scheme at Diphu Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) on Thursday.

During the inaugural programme, Ronghang stated that two cryogenic oxygen gas generation plants have been installed to facilitate an uninterrupted supply of life-saving oxygen during the Covid-19 pandemic when oxygen must be delivered in large quantities to critical patients in DMCH. Member of Parliament Horensing Bey, MLAs Darsing Ronghang, Bidya Sing Engleng, KAAC deputy speaker Ritesh Enghi, EMs Khonsing Rongpi, Amarsing Tisso, deputy commissioner Ng Chandra Dhwaj Singha and principal DMCH Dr. Sumatra Hagjar, attended the programme.
