KOHIMA — Following last week’s announcement of 1,176 vacant police constable posts in Nagaland, the state police said on Thursday that 6,315 candidates have registered so far.
Out of the total registered candidates, 5,156 have completed the application process by paying the examination fee of INR 300.
Authorities noted that some registrants have not yet paid the fee and reminded candidates that payment must be completed by November 7.
Addressing queries regarding payment issues, the director general of police (DGP) said that delays in reflecting payments are normal and asked the candidates to be patient.

It reminded that applications will close on November 7 and stressed that only online submissions will be accepted.
The DGP further reiterated that no recommendations from political leaders or other sources will be considered in the recruitment process.
