Over 1.21 lakh beneficiaries are registered under the Poshan Tracker in Nagaland, with data detailing child health indicators across districts.
KOHIMA — A total of 1,21,624 beneficiaries from Nagaland are registered in the Poshan Tracker and are receiving nutritional support, health monitoring, and welfare services through local Anganwadi centres, as of July 31.
According to the Poshan Tracker website, data shows that across the 17 districts in Nagaland, there are 3,980 Anganwadi centres and 3,957 Anganwadi workers. The status of Anganwadi infrastructure in the state shows that there are 2,421 own buildings, 2,358 functional toilets, and 3,626 drinking water sources.
Of the total beneficiaries registered in the state, 3,271 are children aged 0 to 6 months, 39,479 are children aged 6 months to 3 years, 54,227 are children aged 3 to 6 years, 1,739 are pregnant women, 2,919 are lactating mothers, and 19,989 are adolescent girls.
The growth monitoring of children aged 0 to 5 years shows that a total of 65,093 children were monitored as of July 31. Out of these, 25% were severely or moderately stunted, 4% showed wasting (SAM/MAM), 6% were severely or moderately underweight, and 14% were obese or overweight.
